I grew up in Northern California in a household shaped by my family’s immigration journey and am a first-generation college and graduate student. I identify as a Latina, neurodivergent, and queer student therapist committed to creating a space that feels grounded, collaborative, and affirming of the many identities you carry. My approach to therapy honors the ways intergenerational trauma, migration stories, colonization, and systemic oppression can live within families and bodies across time. Together, we will gently explore patterns, narratives, and inherited beliefs that may no longer serve you, while also reconnecting with the resilience, strength, and wisdom present in your lineage. I draw from narrative therapy and emotionally focused therapy, all through a sociocultural and systemic lens. In my personal life, I enjoy playing video games, reading books, hiking, and listening to the PNW rain.
Luna is a 9-year-old Corgi. And has always seemed destined to be a therapist. She prefers human connection over dogs, is deeply attuned to people’s emotions, and has a special way of offering comfort simply by being present. With her observant nature and expressive little face, she intuitively knows how to bring lightness, grounding, and warmth into the room. Outside of her professional duties, she firmly believes she is part bunny. She can often be found lounging beside Muffin & Brownie and occasionally sneaking fruits and lettuce during feeding time, embracing her short legs and big ears.
Brownie and Muffin are adopted bro & sis. Muffin was rescued on an impulse decision and has been thriving ever since, becoming even happier a year later when her brother, Brownie, was adopted. Muffin radiates kindness and curiosity, loves gentle head pets, and frequently zooms around the house, reminding us all to find joy in the little moments. Brownie, on the other hand, can be a bit anxious, but finds comfort in exploring around the house and being held and close to loved ones. He has one ear that lies down, and the other that is straight up– we say he is mid-turning airplane mode. Brownie and Muffin bring a sense of calm, joy, and grounded presence that is impossible not to notice.
